The typical Neumünster half-timbered house dominated the cityscape at Großflecken 58 until 1982. It was demolished as part of the new Volksbank building and rebuilt on Waschpohl.

It was mentioned for the first time in the Earth Book in 1788. In 1896 it was expanded and expanded with an extension. At the time, the owner Detlev Hinrich Hinselmann ran a distillery and brown beer brewery in the house, as well as a bar and lounge.

The redesign began in 1901 according to plans by the architect Hans Roß. Art Nouveau elements on the facade and the interior design such as stairs, doors, ceiling and fireplace were retained during the reconstruction on the Waschpohl. The house is registered as a “cultural monument of particular importance”.
