A nice place, especially in the evening mood. Maybe not the classic highlight, but nevertheless he exudes a pleasant calm and stimulates reflection.

Memorial for fallen soldiers of the First World War, as well as for fallen soldiers from other nations.
The grove (formerly known as the Heroes' Grove) was created in 1920 by Mr. Junglöw. 1300 oaks (1 for each fallen soldier from Neumünster) were planted.
In the 1970s, the acceptance of the area named Heroes' Grove changed & it was forgotten after the Second World War, so that in 1987, with a narrow majority in the council, it was decided to rename the "Heroes' Grove to Peace Grove". On Remembrance Day in 1989, a new "bronze memorial plaque" was erected.
The facility has been maintained since then, and the oaks are being made more visible again.
Today, this grove is considered both a memorial and a local recreation area, as part of the city forest.
