Between Stargarder and Rahlstedter Straße, the path on the Bernese Au is especially green and beautiful. In the summer it is indeed very overgrown and tight, if someone comes to meet, you do not have to drive on the main road and - you can stop for a beer at the SC Condor club home and listen to bizarre football talks. 😀

Families can reach the dyke promenade in a wooded area between Kathenkupplung and the Berner Au via several access routes: Coming from the Heuortsland new housing estate, children and parents march over the meadow path to the wooden bridge and then turn right; Coming from Berner Allee, opposite the church/bus stop Lienaustraße, take the forest path, which is about a 4-minute walk; from the street Kathenkupplung you have to turn into the Parkweg in the curve of the street and follow the path for about 3 minutes on foot.
