    Hiking

The bridge is situated on a footpath and cycle path linking Elterwater to Skelwith Bridge, near Ambleside in Cumbria. The bridge spans the River Brathay, a short distance upstream from the Skelwith Force waterfall.
The bridge was designed and built by specialist metalwork company Chris Brammall Ltd, who have also created some very fine bridge railings in Staveley and Sunderland.

Fantastic bridge. If you have your hiking pole you can stand in the middle of the bridge hold the pole in front of you and shout “you shall not pass”
