It is located between Schwabentor and Schoferstrasse.
The street was originally called Hintere and Vordere Wolfshöhle, but later just Wolfshöhle.
It was only in the Middle Ages that it became one of the most lively and important streets in the city, where many craftsmen settled.
In 1854 it was renamed “Konviktstraße”.
