Here the Leinewelle - an artificially created standing wave for surfers - is to be created based on the model of the Eisbach wave in Munich. The Leinewelle association for the Hanoverian restaurateur Heiko Heybey has been fighting for years. My last stand: On January 12th, 2021, the Hanover Administrative Court dismissed the fishing association's action against the Leinewelle. The initiators now want to start preparing for construction.
