Today's rosarium is located on the Hirschgrund above the theater. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Glauchau gardeners' association and to upgrade Glauchau as a garden city, the association laid out this park as a rose garden. The paths have been designed symmetrically. The lawn area is about 6000 square meters.

Hiking
After the Second World War, the area changed. For example, the Catholic church was built (1954 to 1956). After the entire Gehrenbeck property had been built on, only the current Rosarium remained of the old Hirschgrund facilities. At the upper end of the almost stadium-like oval there is now a playground, a sports field and the "Am Rosarium" primary school. Below the Rosarium is the Glauchau City Theater.
