De Regulieren is a wonderful nature reserve to walk through. It is a wet area where the flowers can bloom in abundance. Especially in the months of May and June you will be surprised by a multitude of flowers. You will also find a wide variety of plant species.

Bowl soil reserve of the Gelders Landschap located between the Zeedijk, the Hennisdijk, the Zwarte Kade and the Bisschopsgraaf in the municipality of Geldermalsen. The area was formed between 1974 and 1983 as part of a land consolidation, in the middle of intensively used agricultural land. Two thirds of it consists of flowery hay and meadows and the remainder of poplar forest, pilot whales and marsh. There are two duck decoys in the area. The area is one of the best butterfly areas in the area, with plenty of sand brown eyes in the spring. Orange tips can also be found here. There are also good deer to see in the area. When the area is still very wet in spring, many birds can be seen such as godwit, garnet, snipe and the like. The area is freely accessible on a number of hiking trails. Along the Rijksstraatweg is a small parking lot with an information board. A lot of crab shear grows in the ditch along the northern access road. In the ditches of the northern part, the large loach is quite common.
