Mountain biking
A nice gradually rising path from near the bottom of Whinlatter Pass to Force Crag Mine. Watch out for sheep and walkers but the views across the Coledale Valley up to Grisedale Pike and back to Skiddaw are fantastic. Even more atmospheric in poor weather. A pretty good surface for a MTB or gravel bike.
