We set off with a frost on the ground and it warmed up a bit up til about 1300 when it started to feel bitterly cold with the wind chill. It was surprisingly busy for a couple of weeks before easter

The plethora of signs from the property at Carter ground fail to mention the fact "the path " is actually a bridleway that goes through their property / Garden and they just don't want anyone using it

Superb day weatherwise we couldnt ask for better, we just need a prolonged dry spell now to dry everywhere up . Windermere ferry is still out of service so to access grizedale we have the horrible A591 to negotiate. Ben came thru to Windermer on the train and we gotā¦
