Robinson is accessed with relative ease from the top of the Newlands Pass, where your eye will be drawn to Moss Force, one of Lakeland's most beautiful waterfalls. Its north east ridge has a few interesting moments that could be considered as scrambles. A proud fell that looks especially splendid alongside sister peak Hindscarth when viewed from the Newlands Valley.

The path down to Dalegarth via Hassnesshow beck is very picturesque but very steep and washed out. Strong legs and firm grip on the fence are minimum requirements.

Keep an eye on mountain weather forecasts. The cloud descended on me and sadly I had no views, but I imagine it would have been spectacular!
