Cycling

Definitely worth seeing church dating back to the 13th century. A beautiful circular route opens up the terrain. Inside, the very important Holy organ under an impressive barrel vault from the 17th century. Especially worth seeing is the tomb of the glory of Dornum. A stop is worthwhile in any case.

Apart from the slightly crooked brick church itself, there is also an ancient beech tree with a trunk circumference of around 5 meters and several old iron crosses from former graves. Surely an eerie backdrop in the dark. 👻🙈

Very nicely preserved church. Built in 1200. Escape church during storm surges. Reformation church since 1524.
The resting place of the Dornum gentlemen's families "Kankenka" and "von Closter".
