Hiking

The column route is part of the inner-German border facilities on the part of the former GDR. It was made from uniform, very weather-resistant perforated panels, which are mostly plant-grown and are pretty much firmly attached to the ground. In contrast to the rest of the border complex, the column route is still largely preserved decades after the end of the GDR.
