The Zastlerbach is a left side brook of the Dreisam. The sources and tributaries of the Zastlerbach are in the upper Zastlertal near Oberried and in the entire northern Feldberg area. The Zastlerbach keeps its name until Kirchzarten, then the flowing water is called Krummbach.

The water rushes steeply down from here, forms a small depression on the heel at the height of the path and continues to flow quickly. Well you can refresh yourself here and take a sip of cold, clear mountain water, without having to worry that the water is enriched with something unhealthy.

Zastlerbach refers to the upper reaches of the Krummbach, which flows into the Dreisam. It is wonderful to walk along here on the ascent or descent to / from the Feldberg.
