Path is not maintained by S.Verein, only by private. There are many trees on the way, but many are now working. There are no signs. Recently a few way signs. Partially exposed something. Alpine in the Black Forest. :-)

The Alpine path meanders on the western slopes of the Feldberg through a breathtaking spell forest. The stony path with its Kraxelabschnitten is only something for experienced hikers and sturdy shoes is mandatory in any case.

Hiking

A wonderful path high above the valley of the Sankt Wilhelmer Talbach. But only recommended for really well trained, sure-footed and high-altitude hikers. There is also a small climbing section to be planned that does not have any safety devices, but has to be climbed freely. The sometimes narrow path runs almost permanently on the steep slope with scree, roots and stone blocks.
