The Holy Spirit Chapel on Lüneburg Gate was built in 1322. In 1324 a hospital and later a rest house were added. The chapel is a brick building with a ridge turret. The portal goes to Lüneburger Straße, the gable of the portal is characterized by plaster covers. In the choir are the choir windows of the St. Viti chapel from the year 1420. The winged altar was created in 1515.

The Holy Ghost Chapel was consecrated in 1322 and the choir was enlarged in the 15th century. The Marian altar dates back to the early 16th century, inside the chapel, which used to be the centerpiece of an associated hospital. The Heiligen-Geist-Kapelle is centrally located at the northern end of Lüneburger Straße. Owner is the Holy Spirit Foundation Uelzen.
