Tips
Beautiful city park on the site of the gunpowder disaster from 1807. The park built in 1886 along the water of the Steenschuur is named after Pieter Adriaansz. van der Werff, mayor of Leiden at the time of the Siege of Leiden in the Eighty Years' War. His statue is in the middle of the park.
