About 2 kilometers from Cusco's city center Plaza de Armas is the Templo de los monos, the monkey temple. These are the ruins of an archaeological site. Many rocks with great formations invite you to explore. The place has its very own atmosphere and a visit is more than worthwhile.

Can be perfectly combined with a visit to the Templo de la luna.

Admission is free. Exploration on your own very well feasible.
