The undershot water wheel is the only surviving one of its kind in the Halle/Magdeburg district.
(For those who aren't technically savvy:
Undershot means that the flowing water hits the blades of the wheel at their lowest points.)
Idyllically located on the Getel, this technical monument of production history is very popular as a photo motif.
It is hiking station 11 of the Vorharzer 3ländereck path.
