According to the story, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Traunstein near the train station was built between 1897 and 1899.
The master builder was Alfred Stamm and he wanted to build it in the neo-Gothic style. Beautiful church worth a visit!

Church of the Resurrection in Traunstein Outside:
Built (masonry) from local Nagelfluh (plastered inside), brick covering on the tower and nave, tympanum above the main entrance designed by Prof. Schiestl, Würzburg (around 1907);
internally:Ruhpolding red marble (columns, altar steps, etc.), painting (choir arch) Josef Widmann Munich, the large colored glass window of the chancel ("Ascension of Christ"), by W.F. Dixon from the Court Stained Glass F.X. Zettler, Munich fell victim to the bombs;
In 1952 the Marquartstein artist Heinrich von Kralik redesigned the choir window;
In 1994 the Church of the Resurrection received a new organ (Rolf company),
in 2005 new bronze bells (Perner, Passau). Supplemented with the fourth bell of 2017.
