Ludwig Leichhardt Museum Trebatsch

Six students produced a large mural for the 200th birthday of the Australian explorer, depicting important stations of the most famous Trebatschers. As the location of the exhibition, the back wall of the estate Trebatsch, vis à vis the Leichhardt-Platz, was chosen. The mural is 12.50 meters long and 2.50 meters high.

Ludwig Leichhardt Museum TrebatschThe Ludwig Leichhardt Museum was opened in 1988 on the occasion of the 175th birthday of the Trebatsch born Australia researcher. Since 1990 the society Ludwig Leichhardt e.V. Trebatsch is the bearer of the museum institution. Through museum tours, with a monthly program of events and the revival of the "Leichhardt circular walk" (about 11 km), it contributes to the appreciation of the lost in Australia researcher and to enrich the cultural life in the region.
