    The building of the former town hall replaced the original substructure with a tower destroyed by fire. It then became the seat of a high school and later the seat of an elementary school. It is located on Velký náměstí in the immediate vicinity of the Municipal Office. The facade of the building was decorated in 1903 with colorful sgraffitos by the academic painter Josef Bosáček based on caricatures by Mikoláš Alš. On the first floor there is a rich ornamental decoration of intertwined tendrils, leaves and flowers. The second floor is decorated with ornaments and in the center between the windows there is the city's coat of arms and the Czech lion. The tower's vaulted panels have figures of Justice and Self-Government on either side of the windows. The last sgraffito restoration was done by restorer Hynk Merta in 2016.
