"With 200 species of trees and shrubs from all over the world, burial mounds from the Bronze Age and numerous rest areas, the Buddenberg Arboretum offers a pure experience of nature.
Covering an area of around 10 hectares, the Buddenberg Arboretum on the Steinberg is home to over 200 native and exotic tree species such as ginkgo, euonymus, witch hazel, chewing gum, handkerchief and plume trees as well as wonderful solitary oaks. Large lines of sight open up wonderful views of the Eggegebirge and, with good visibility, far into the Weserbergland.
Other special features in the arboretum are a geological quarry and 20 burial mounds from the Bronze Age. The arboretum offers the layman the opportunity to get to know trees and shrubs from other countries and continents. Astonishingly often, the exotic species in the arboretum are species from America or Asia that were also native to us before the Ice Age. For the expert, the arboretum with its endangered species should represent a place of study where he can collect illustrative material and at the same time contribute to the conservation of rare tree species."

The Arobetum is a section of the Kaleidoskopweg in Bad Driburg and includes various types of buildings with information signs. And shows many trees there in real life and is therefore a very instructive tree nature trail.
