The climb through the Spirzen on the K4907 is recommended both up and down. The road is in decent condition, initially climbing gently at the bottom of the valley at a maximum of 7 to 8%, then increasing slightly towards the end of the valley but never exceeding 10%. Leaving the valley at the upper end and reaching the plateau in front of the Thurner, there are two short ramps with gradients just over 10%. The descent is easy to take it easy; the curves are all clear, but be careful in the narrower lower section, where it can sometimes get a bit tight. However, traffic is light in places, and for whatever reason, people like to drive very fast on this road. For those who prefer a quieter ride, the highlight "Auf den Spirzen" (komoot.de/highlight/96429) is recommended.

I can only recommend the route for going down and warmly there. High-speed slope with super asphalt and easily visible curves.
As a driveway, it is super stressful due to the heavy, fast traffic paired with trucks and log trailers. It is better to take the shady, unused branch route via the "Steigweg", which begins directly in Wagensteig.

Highly recommended as a departure. I drove it down from "Auf der Spirzen", hardly any traffic during the week. Here is a video for the visual impression
