The museum village in Seppsensen is an open-air museum of local history, which is run on an honorary basis by the history and museum association Buchholz and surroundings.

The following regional homes and facilities are located around a central village square:

the old village school of 1880 with the museum of local history and a decorated cobbler workshop,

Sniers Hus, from Regesbostel, rebuilt in Seppensen in 1986,

the approx. 100 years old bakery from Kampen, which was rebuilt in 1990 in Seppensen,

the passageway barn from Otter, this was rebuilt in 2002-2004,

a display stand built in 2012

a historic smithy, which was built in 2013 with the workshop of the last Buchholzer village smith, Arnold Kahnenbley.

There is also a fountain with a soda rocker and a well-kept cottage garden on the west side of Sniers Hus, where you can watch the changing seasons at any time.

    The terrain is freely accessible.
