Hiking

Two typical Franconian Forest houses can be seen in the Lower Wustuben. The small house at Wustuben No. 34 was built in 1816 by Oswald Hofmann. Since 2021, it has been undergoing a complete renovation and serves as a weekend home. The other, more secluded house is no longer inhabited.

The Untere Wustuben is hidden away directly on the FrankenwaldSteig, on the FrankenwaldSteigla Dreierknock and on the Frankenweg. The typical Frankenwald cottage is used as a holiday home. The second house is even more hidden between trees and is empty.
