According to the information board, the triple beech is the product of a stick deflection. From the remains of an old trunk, three new, fast-growing "trees" emerged, which soon reached an impressive height. But not only its height with the mighty crowns is impressive, also the total circumference, which reaches an impressive 6.31 m. So the three young trees grew out of the existing, older and green mossy root system that are now in their prime, as can be seen from their beautiful smooth bark.
