Best Hikes to Schumann Villa (Abandoned Mansion)

Tips

  • The two-storey hipped mansard roof building with gable and tower bay has rich cut stone structures. The neo-baroque villa was built in 1905. It was built for the Schumann family, the owners of the Arzberg porcelain factory. The villa is a protected monument. The building has been empty since 2014.

  • Lost place in Arzberg, sad but true, once a magnificent villa, today unfortunately a ruin left to its own devices, a testament to the better Arzberg times of the world-famous porcelain industry from the Fichtelgebirge

  • Fascinating from the wrought iron fence, the glass-covered entrance area and the winding construction. It's a shame about this beautiful gem.
