In 1729, the Sauerbrunnen became famous for the physician Christoph Keil. On July 14, 1957, the inauguration of the re-opened well took place. The fountain pavilion is still there and can be seen from afar. The tasty medicinal water is taken from a hand pump. Even today, people come from near and far to bottle bottled water.
