Hiking
The left tributary of the Ilmenau has its source west of Embsen and initially runs in a northerly direction through the so-called "Hasenburg Switzerland". At Oedeme, a district of the city of Lüneburg, in an easterly direction, it flows south and flows into the Ilmenau between Düvelsbrook and Neu Häcklingen.
