The Jane former Military Hospital Chapel

The Jane former chapel of the Military Hospital is centrally located between the pavilions on the Paradeplein. The architectural style is eclectic and dates from the last century. The facade is mixed with neo-Flemish Renaissance and Neo-Baroque elements.The chapel now houses the starred restaurant 'The Jane'.
On March 25, 2014, Sergio Herman and Bril opened the doors of The Jane. The eye-catcher is a chandelier of 800 kilos with 150 light points. The designer is PSLAB from Beirut.
Eight months after the opening, on November 24, 2014, the business received a Michelin star, on December 14, 2015, the second Michelin star followed at the presentation of the Michelin Guide 2016.In the annual list of The World's 50 Best Restaurants, The Jane is invariably listed in the top 100.In 2021 Sergio Herman left the business and Nick Bril became the sole owner.A mecca for tastemakers.
