Hiking
A failure at the western end of the Sperberhaier Dam allowed the ditch water to be supplied to the ditch.
The dam 32, at the western end of the Sperberhaier Dam, with which the water in the Tränketal and the Polsterberger Pochwerksgraben could be diverted.
Shortly above the intake of the cutting water (Erfschlag 22) on the east bank you can see the beginning of another old ditch, which presumably led to the English Crone pit located between the cutting water and the Förster-Ludewig-Platz.

Hiking
In order to be able to direct as much water as possible for the mining to Clausthal and Zellerfeld, even small rivulets were used here.
