      In 1916 the water tower was built on the ring to supply Alsleben with water. The Wasserturm e.V. association, founded in 2004, renovated the tower by August 2009. Today the tower is open to visitors as an observation tower. Inside there is an exhibition on the history of the tower. The water tower is open from April to October every 1st Sunday of the month from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

      Also on Easter Monday, Whit Monday and Open Monument Day from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

      Guided tours are possible outside of the opening hours after registration.
