The Trinity Chapel is made of wood and granite stone. It lies at an altitude of 865 meters on the white and red marked Steinwaldweg/Franconian Mountain Path between the Weißenstein castle ruins and the Platte. It was inaugurated in August 1974. The 865 m high chapel made of wood and granite is located on the white and red marked Steinwaldweg/Franconian mountain path between the Weißenstein castle ruins and the Platte. It was inaugurated on August 18, 1974. The anteroom of the open chapel is intended as a shelter.
Next to the chapel there is a stone torture with "stones of expiation". Old people tell that until a few decades ago, stones were carried up here from the near and far surroundings because it was believed that this would lead to forgiveness of sins.
