The Kanał Piastowski, translated as Piast Canal since 1945, is the name of the canal built from 1875 to 1880 on the island of Usedom, also known as the Kaseburger Canal, which connects the Swine (Polish Świna) south of the port city of Swinemünde (Świnoujście) with the Szczecin Lagoon and connects it with the Oder. Today the canal is in the Polish part of the island.

The northern part of the canal by the town was called Mellin Ride, bypassing the silting Heath Ride. He cut through the old island "Big Mellin" and then reached the old Swine. The actual "Kaiserfahrt" began on the island of "Kleiner Mellin".

The construction of the Kaiserfahrt separated an eastern part of the island of Usedom around the village of Kaseburg and became an island between the Kaiserfahrt and the old Swine. The island is now connected to the island of Wollin by a new bridge from 2010.
