The Daniliškės Old Believers community is the oldest in the Vilnius region, established in the 18th century. At the beginning, it belonged to the Feodosian branch, and from the middle of the 19th century - to the Pomors. In the 19th century, there were no less than 47 villages in Trakai County where Old Believers lived. The Daniliškės church is mentioned from the 19th century. Until 1825, this church was also used by Vilnius Old Believers. During World War I, the church was severely damaged. In 1931, a new wooden church with a bell tower on a concrete base was built. In 1937, it had 194 members. During the Soviet years, the church was closed, and after 1990 it was restored and restored. Due to the small number of visitors, it rarely works.
