  • The Scherenbergtor is the only gateway to the inner courtyard. The gate castle with protruding round towers arranged on both sides was completed in 1482. A coat of arms below the left arch next to the three Frankish apostles with the year 1482 refers to the eponymous Prince Bishop Rudolf II von Scherenberg.
