The chapel was originally a neo-Gothic temple built in 1799 by Heinrich Christoph Jussow. Heinrich von Meysenburg used the temple as a place of philosophy and meditation. The temple was remodeled as a chapel in 1928 and has since been used as the resting place of the von Buttlar family.

Located on the side of the road, I have a sign where you can get the information, if you want to.. A great place to rest in summer. Unfortunately, the chapel was closed...

Beautiful area to just drive down.
The Buttler family's small chapel serves as their resting place. If you are tall enough and have a flashlight with you, you can also see the ancient coffins inside.
