The "Samson" house, built in 1643, has been owned by the Wolff family for several generations and provides a vivid insight into the living culture of the 18th and 19th centuries. It is not without reason that it is also called the most beautiful house in the city. The 18th century door with its baroque ornaments and delicate skylight is also a gem. The renowned Wolff wine shop is still located on the ground floor. On the first and second floors, a private museum of East Frisian living culture can be visited for a small entrance fee during the wine shop's opening hours.
