Hiking

Where the Wirth Memorial to Freedom of the Press once stood (now in a smaller form in front of the Freedom Hall), a shallow fountain now bubbles from several water dispensers sunk into the ground. A welcome opportunity for children to splash around.

Hiking

Quiet spots to sit, a few shady places to read and relax, a babbling fountain. The newly designed Dr.-Wirth-Platz is a small oasis in the middle of the city center that invites you to linger and stroll.

Hiking

In the center of the square is a duckweed with floor-level bubblers that provide refreshment on hot summer days.
