The place Cherain is very nice. On the main square is the Vinzenz Church, a heavy field howitzer 18 from WW II and a monument to the fallen of the wars.

Cherain is a borough of Gouvy. It has an old Romanesque church dedicated to St Vincent. In the cemetery around it are many special tombstones.
On the central square is an old oak tree, a war memorial and a cannon (FH 18 Kanon Schwere).
It's a nice place to relax.

Cherain, is a typical small Ardennes village that is part of Gouvy. The wider area is mainly agricultural. A number of war elements, including artillery, are set up in the village center.
