Ljubliana surprises with many busy shopping streets away from the mainstream. No super and mega brands. Rather a healthy mixture of small, very individual shops with individual handicrafts, culture, design, fashion cafés, bars. Not only does the Trubarieva cesta stand out, many streets have this mixture, including the main pedestrian zones and thus differ from many capital cities with their super brand monotony. What is special about the Trubarieva cesta is the rather village atmosphere, due to the buildings not being as high as on the other side.
