The former railway station, now it's a cafe/gift shop and there is bike hire so you can cycle on the Monsal Trail. We parked here and hired bikes to cycle part of the 8 mile long trail. Going from here to Bakewell is ever so slightly uphill, meaning it's downhill on the way back!

Parking at either end of the trail. If you park at Hassop it's down hill to the end so up hill coming down. You can tie the bikes up near the viaduct to walk up the natural steps to a great viewpoint. There's usually an ice cream truck here selling coffees as well on a colder day.
