The classic Zuflucht climb is narrow and busy. But this alternative climb is fantastic, without cars and the quality of the Road is perfect and as steep as the classic climb.

Pleasant climb towards the refuge. Steep but hardly any drivers compared to the parallel route. The forest offers shade on hot days, the peace and quiet and the fresh air are nice and refreshing. When fighting the mountain, you can simply go to yourself and only think about the next meter to be climbed or simply switch off.
