Saint-Georges Cathedral

Originally a baptistery of the eighth century located in the area of Charlemagne's Imperial Palace, the religious building has been rebuilt and expanded from the early thirteenth century. St. George's Church then underwent a major restoration campaign in the mid-nineteenth century, and then in the first half of the twentieth century.The Church of Saint-Georges is also home to many statues and several exceptional paintings.
