There used to be commercial ship traffic on the Lahn too. Today the Lahn is just a wonderful river for canoeers and sports boaters. 🛥

Unspectacular in and of itself - but I live on this river and it connects landscape and people, so I had to see the confluence with the Rhine. The Rhine actually flows into the Lahn :-)
