If you pass by here on the way to the Rastenbachklamm car park, you should definitely stop off - a cozy and quiet place, with delicious, own wine and a great view of Lake Caldaro

We just happened to be passing by on one of our hikes and spontaneously decided to buy a few bottles. We enjoyed it so much that we will definitely come back to learn more about the history of the winery, such as the in-house wine cellar, which grandfather dug by hand with a spade and shovel.

The current owner's father, Dominikus, has spent over 30 years digging under his vineyard by hand using only a pick and shovel. Lovingly decorated and lined with the most beautiful stones from the Kaltern area, it shows the incredible human achievement that was achieved here over a lifetime.
