Was als gemütliche 18 km-Tour in der Harzer Bergbaustadt Altenau begann, wurde zu einem epischen Tag für mein Vater-Sohn-Neffen-Gespann. Ich hatte im Vorfeld klammheimlich die nächsten Wanderauszeichnungen organisiert – heute sollte gefeiert werden: 🥉 Bronze für Miko, 👑 Wanderprinz für ihn gleich obendrauf und 🥇Gold für Tamo & mich. Los ging’s bei strahlendem Wetter zur Brockenblick-Hütte (HWN 132), wo Miko seinen ersten Orden bekam – inklusive kleinem Antreten, wie sich das gehört 😄. Am Dammgraben entlang kreuzten wir an HWN 149 die Kleine Oker, machten einen Zwischenstopp am malerischen Nabentaler Wasserfall und sammelten weiter bei HWN 133 am Förster-Ludewig-Platz. Richtig emotional wurde es an der Jungfernklippe (HWN 223): Ehrgeiz, Erschöpfung und Stolz trafen sich – wir gönnten uns eine verdiente Pause mit leergefuttertem Proviant. Doch die Jungs hatten noch Energie… und Hunger. 🥵 Spontan ging’s 3 km weiter zum Wienerwald nach Torfhaus – Schnitzel, Burger, Currywurst & Cola machten die Akkus schneller voll als gedacht 😅. Mit neuem Schwung stapften wir zur Wolfswarte, wo uns ein dramatisches Sonnen-Wolken-Schauspiel und Dino-Fantasien à la „Quetzalcoatlus-Nest“ empfingen. 🌤🦖 Letzter Stempel des Tages: HWN 134 Gustav-Baumann-Weg. Dann zurück zum Auto – 12 Stunden Abenteuer, über 20 km und knapp 700 Höhenmeter. 💪 Ein verdienter Abschluss mit Eis an der Tanke. Ich bin einfach stolz auf die Jungs.

👣 Kleine Aufwärmrunde mit königlichem Abschluss in Silber 👑 Bevor morgen wieder in voller Besetzung mit Tamos Cousin losgezogen wird, stand heute eine kompakte, aber nicht weniger stolze Etappe an. 🥾🌲 Fünf Stempelstellen haben wir gezielt eingesammelt – fast nebenbei, aber mit Präzision. Los ging’s diesmal direkt in Wernigerode, wo wir vor dem Start endlich etwas abholen konnten, das Tamo sich letzte Woche schon redlich verdient hatte: den Wanderprinzen! 👑👦 Ein stolzer Moment – und ein Ansporn mehr, weiterzugehen. Während andere vielleicht schon auf dem Heimweg waren, stapften wir noch durch den Harz – begleitet von Zeitdruck, aber nicht von Hektik. Denn wir wussten: Wenn alles klappt, holen wir uns heute noch die Silberne Wandernadel. Und so kam es auch: Punktlandung im Waldgasthaus Christianental, kurz vor 18:00 Uhr, wo uns der nette Mitarbeiter schon erwartete. 🕔🎯🥈 Eine kleine Tour, aber mit großem Abschluss – Wanderprinz und Silber an einem Tag. Manchmal liegt das Glück eben auf dem letzten Kilometer. 💪✨
