Hiking

It was established in 1900 by the Spa-Attractions company. It is a tribute to the designers of the promenades and fountains of the town of Spa. The carved marble frame was part of the monument donated by Tsar Peter the Great in 1718.

The monument is located in the Seven Hours Park.

In 1758, the Seven Hours Park was transformed into a public promenade. Today, it features many monuments: one commemorating the truce offered by Major C.E. Radcliffe, who was made a citizen of Spa in 1925; another to the composer Meyerbeer, who came to Spa for inspiration from 1829 to 1860; and yet another to Jean d'Ardenne, a writer of great quality, born in Spa, and an unparalleled champion of this region.
