A fantastic way to conquer the Scafell, wonderful views with a little bit of scrambling involved for the more adventurous but well worth it. The summit doesn't reveal itself until the last part and it's breathtaking.

Hiking

This memorial used to be located by the summit of Great Gable from its dedication in 1924. It was removed in 2013 and relocated here and a replica was placed on the summit of Great Gable in its place. Well worth a luck.
